Which engine is plastic and which is the resin copy?Bonus points if you can I.d which kit they came from!What say you?

Unfortunately, the picture is too grainy to tell, but I'll guess that the one on the right is resin.

Ok the resin copy is #2 the fact that you could not tell them apart indicates that I have succeeded!Not bad for a one piece mold!

New molding technology has definitely reduced the difference between die cast styrene and resin castings.  However, I am building the new ICM Twin Beech, and they did not do as good a job on the engines as they did with the rest of the kit, so went ahead and ordered resin engines.

Yes I have heard that the engines were a bit of a disappointment on that kit!Can you post a pic of the engines?

Well no need to be snarky,I have succeed in casting a duplicate multi cylinder radial engine utilizing a one piece mold.Worked just fine.
