Hi all, with all the big builds I have been working on lately including a 1/35 K-5 Leopold, I wanted a quick build to keep the sanity. It is OOB, I used Italeri dark ghost grey for pre-shading and Italeri light ghost gey for main colour and shades of light ghost grey for weathering. I also mixed an oil wash with paynes grey to highlight recessed panel lines. Also added lead in the nose otherwise she would be a tail sitter for sure. Protected with Satin vallejo polyurethane varnish.

Overall a pretty good kit but it does has problems, like the weapon pylons do not match up with the holes in the wings, and the GBU-12's don't line up with the pylon locator tabs, very strange.

Thanks for looking

Excellent work, Grant, thanks for posting. The detail work and finish are first rate, glad you were able to make a silk purse out of a kit with issues. Did the wings come with a static droop, or did you do it yourself?

Another solid hit, and an unusual subject.

Thanks Patrick, the wings just sat that way, if I wanted them to be on the horizontal to the ground I would have had to modify as that is where they sat flush to the kit's fuselage

Understood, Grant. I have seen them on the ground with and without fuel and wing external stores, When unloaded the wings were nearly level to the horizon, loaded they had a very prominent downward bend. Looks like you nailed the correct stance. Thanks again.

Nice work Grant!  Pretty cool looking drone!  What is the overall wingspan on that kit?

On the Bench:  Lots of unfinished projects!  Smile
