Thanks. The colors I used were MM enamel RLM70/71 for the standard splinter with splotches of  RLM 79 and RLM65 for the undersides.

That is my own turpentine and yellow ochre oil paint brew used as a wash over the clear flat MM Acrylic. The trick is applying over the clear flat so it's evenly absorbed and distributed over the finish creating those subtle fading areas. If you do a close-up of the pictures the finish appears to be rough textured but in reality is smooth as glass. It's the effect the wash creates of both dusting and fading.  

Very nice! I have an Italeri/Tamiya one in my stash.

How did you do the fading? Is that an overspray of a sand color or something else? I've got a Bf-109 E7 I just started, and I'd be happy if my finished product looked even half as nice as yours.

Yes stik. RLM 79 over the standard splinter scheme and faded out from the toasty North African sun.

ah the classic snake Stuka! Sweet! Very well done sir, very well done! Now it looks to me like there are bands of the sand color applied over the standard RLM 70/71 upper surface splinter pattern?
