Very nice build, especially in 1/72!

Excellent work.  Is it true they have a new tooled 1/48 Hurricane?

Chris FFZ

Thanks guys!

there were no real fit issues to speak of, the kit is very well engineered.

These 'new Airfix' kits are as good or better then anything else anyone is doing these days.

Just received Airfix's new Boulton-Paul Defiant, and it looks good in the box.  I'm looking forward to trying the new Hurricanes, too; Hannant's have the Plastic Planet decal sheet back in stock, and it's got some nice-looking markings, including "Cobber" Kain's.

Nice work on this Chris.

I used to avoid Airfix kits, but I have found myself buying a couple of the last year or so and am looking forward to some of there new releases. But they seem to have the balance just right. Nicely detailed for those want that, and can still add some AM if they want, but still cheap enough and not over done so they work for youngsters coming into the hobby as they always have been.

I am continually being impressed by these new Airfix kits. When I was a kid they were considered rubbish by serious modellers. Now I can't wait to get my hands on one.

How did this one go together for you? Any issues?
