Well then I should make a legitimate contribution to this discussion.

My choice of scales relies on how much space the model takes up so a B-29 should never be more than 1/72 and anything smaller than a B-29 begins to take a Zen aspect.   That means to get maximum detail you are drawn in.  1/72 is the netherworld (IMO) between scale and detail.

I have to admit that my aforementioned opinion adds nothing to my getting a good nights sleep.  Doubt that it ever will.

Ok again I was just pointing out the issues. It's still a work in progress.

Either you have a God-given gift for satire or you need to move up to 1/48.

Ok, let me begin by saying that this is my 2nd model in 30 yrs, so a little leeway please.

Ok, where to begin  this is a MiniCraft 1/144 B-52, normally I don't blame the model for any inconsistencies or issues, but on this one, I do have to.  An example of this would be the cockpit.

Now for the wheels, well there is a lot to be desired there as well (for reference I have included the wheel from a C-17 that had parts lost from it (it's a long story)

(You will notice the lack of details on the B-52 wheel vs the C-17 wheel)

Now on to other issues

The wheels had issues on the reverse side.  There was three mold marks that needed to be filled

(Forgive the markings, again it's my second build after 30 years as well as the paint job on the -17 wheel)

So on and so forth, there are a few other issues that are minor, but still enough to drive one crazy.
