Lighting

I have an F-16 1/32 scale model with a couple others as small as 1/144 I'd like to include some actual landing lights and cockpit lighting to the model. All I keep finding is RC kit lighting which is to big. Is there any where that makes small enough fiber optic lighting I can build into the model for lights to display with actual lights on and blinking? Any help would be great

Check out Micromark and look at their fiber optic starters kit.  It's about $20 or so and comes with a battery cradle/switch assembly that leads to the lights.  I have one for a model ship I intend to do some time soon (I hope).  You would likely need a base and then just run the wires into the aircraft for a small one, for a 1/32 you could easily mount it inside, you'd just need a way to move the switch.  With a little ingenuity though, I'm sure you could figure something out.

Try some of the ads for space/scifi stuff.  Lighting is quite common in scifi, and those places sell some generic LED lighting systems.
