It's just one model builder helping another. That is what we are here for.

Oh yeah! I forgot about the Fujimi 48th kit. Matter of fact, now that I think about it, I do remember the Testors boxing of that kit. And I had it at one time. I losin' it! (Lost it a long time ago! Tongue [:P])

Hey fitter, since you didn't finish it, how much would it take for you to part with it? A word of warning, I wouldn't be able to pay more than 5.00$ US for it, as I'm flat broke!

Fujimi used to make a 1:48 Intruder with recessed panel lines... I got mine back in the late ' 70's, I think. There is no gear-well detail, and the cockpit is rather sparse, but it's a nice overall representation of an A-6E.

I never got around to finishing mine... I did the major assembly and putty work, but was put-off by the lack of detail. I'll probably finish it as a gear-up display model. I just looked for it and was going to take a couple of digital photos, but it seems to be buried too deep in my collection, as I couldn't locate it.

If you are looking for an A-6E, there are at least three Revell 1/48 kits up for bids on Ebay. I just bought one and it is a great kit.

The only decent kit available of an A-6E with engraved lines is the Fujimi 72nd offering. None in 48th, unfortunately. Wish someone would do one!
