Thank you one and all for kind words. Rob Groot those footprints are from a company called Uschi Van Der Rosen and they are decals. The sheet comes with US and German boot patterns and currently I believe they only do 1/35 scale but I thought what the heck maybe some really big Russians found American boots in a shipment of Shermans! Truth though I don't think it really matters because all the detail is covered up by the other mud so I think it worked out ok.

I really like that plane. I have a Mig in my stash. The long nose and short tail remind me of the Pony cars of the late 60's and early 70's. Cudas, Mustangs, Camaros, etc. Good looking bird.

8 years well spent I think, really nice looking MiG, I do like the foot prints on the wing, nice touch.
