I love the Maryland decal on it. I used to watch them everyday at the airframe and powerplant school that I went to for 2 years at Martin State Airport. I have 2 A-10's in my collection that are screaming to me to build. Ones a monogram and the other is a tamiya both in 1/48th.

Max, Love the A-10, and the way its loaded for bear.  Bombs, Mavericks, napalm tanks and of course that huge cannon.  Very cool.

Cool model! I've always loved the A-10.

Big thanks Guys for your comments! Also here's the optional monster fuel tank that I display with it.

As always, another fantastic build from you sir!  It's nice and refreshing to see a camoflauge A-10 than a gray one for a change.

The A-10.  The only aircraft that needed its landing gear moved to the side, so that the gun would fit.  nicely done.

Nice A10, Max. Surely like your freehand camo job.

I really like A10's a lot, and for some reason am half-afraid to start mine, a Hobbyboss kit.

I'm just correcting the color on this view so it better represents how it actually looks. Smile

I think I'm finally done and funny story Kevin!

Nice, I like that the decelerons are open.

I do remember, depending on what tow truck you used all you could see in the rear view mirror was that 30MM gun. You always hoped that it was correctly safed!

Lol, I had a couple of big goofs including crooked landing gear on my much more expensive HobbyBoss A-10 that I didn't see until I took photos!

Nice work Max, love the camo!

Nothing like some close-up photography to reveal some glaring seams particularily on the underside and ordnance. I did at least smooth up the ordnance on the viewing side. I see I somehow missed the seams around the poor fitting engine mounts also. All just lessons for the next model. Still fixable. You might have missed all of this but I doubt it! LOL!  Embarrassed

Nice!  This is on my want to do list, along with a bunch of others, lol.  I love the paint job!

I missed my favorite side-view.

Max

I'm getting some color variation between shots and I'm working on it. Be patient!

Ah, better!

Yet another aircraft from Max's Comparitive 1/48 Aircraft Museum. Not a big Revell fan but this was a fun build and turned out acceptible as they say. Having seen A-10s in action, I certainly wouldn't want to be on the other side. What a war machine indeed. The ordnance loading would never be in this configuration but was to show the different kinds of weaponry that could be or was used. Check it out.
