Hawker Hurricane Mk. I
Posted by Raindog9 on Friday, September 9, 2016 6:01 PM

Happy Friday everyone!

To kick off the weekend I've decided to get started on a kit I picked up a few weeks ago. A Hawker Hurricane Mk. I by Hasegawa in 1/48. I've never done an aircraft before, so i'm breaking new ground! I'd like to set the Fighter in the early Battle of Britian, and had a few questions concerning colors. I've read online that there where a few color schemes in use, a sky-blue, an 'egg blue' which resembles a sickly green, and a half black half white divided right down midline. What should I be using for early BOB?

Also, i'm dying to know what I should do about my interior colors? I've looked up some images of the cockpit and flight chair, and i've seen everything from an olive drab to a kind of metallic turquiose (the kind you see on old Stanely Thermoses.)

Any tips or tricks from some of you more experianced builders would be most appreciated.

A great weekend to everyone, all the best! Beer
