forgot to post this build at the start engine painted and other bits primed in Alclad microfiller/primer
bit of scratch building in cockpit and coat alclad primer
started adding wires to control panel
Alclad interior raf grey green done a black wash added and started detailing
done seat added pot noodle lid harness and painted the engine panel
pilot in , engine in and closed up
wings together
more detail on engine and wings on the fuselage
sanding and filling is my next job :)

my 1/24 spitfire is on hold waiting on masks & insignia masks as i want to try to paint insted of decals from Topnotch Masks there on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/408378296026378/ their ww2 aircraft insignia and camo masks are great if they dont have it they will make it cant wait looking forward to trying new skills :)

One little thing, though: the inside of the fuselage behind the pilot's seat was bare metal, no paint.

Update , thought i would try something different so i gave it a coat of Alclad 2 The Original black microfiller / primer then a coat of Alclad 2 The Original grey microfiller / primer , but done the grey lighter in places to give it a difference in base colour , pre shade next to get it ready for the Topnotch Models masks

2 photos of the pre shading i done and now the azure blue is on , great to get some colour on her will weather her a bit at the end :)
thats the raf dark earth on now :)
done the dark earth then post shaded the panels , next was to add the top notch masks , then painted and post shaded the sand stone , removed the masks very happy chap never needed to touch up , gloss coated her temp till the build is finished
