Tamiya 1/48 Bf 109 E4 Swiss colors

Hello friends! Well, it’s been a while since I’ve sat down at the bench.  Here is my latest build. The shark mouth and unit numbers are decals, the swiss neutral markings are airbrushed. Thank you for looking!

Very nicely done. I do like those Swiss markings and i don't normally go for shark's mouth but i like that one.

I've been researching doing a Swiss 109. Mopar, you beat me to the punch. Really nicely done. I still have a couple of Bf-109F's in my stash that could end up in Swiss markings. The Swiss were very aggressive rergarding their neutrality! They would shoot you down if you didn't follow their commands to land your airplane. Very well done, Mopar. Thanks for sharing. Whose kit?

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

Very nicely done, and very unusual. Not often that someone models the neutrals in a war!

In the queue: 1/48 Beech Staggerwing (RAAF), P38 (RAAF), Vultee Vengeance (RAAF), Spitfire Vb (Malta), Spitfire VIII x2 (RAAF), P39 x2 (RAAF), Martin Baltimore (Malta?), Martin Maryland (Malta), Typhoon NF1b, Hellcat x2 (FAA)

I agree that the build really looks great, and it's neat to see some of the "different" versions shark's mouths out there.

Thanks Bish.  It's a nice break from the typical RLM splinter livery!

This is the Tamiya E4 kit which is always a pleasure to build.

I agree. Looks nice in the overall RLM 70. Kora does a big selection of Swiss 109 decals in 72nd, a lot of them for E-3's. I might have to grab a set and a Tamiya kit.

Nicely done Chad. Glad your back at the bench.

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Very nice. I like the simple, yet unusual paint scheme.
