GMorrison,

I took a quick look online at one review and the reviewer was very down on the kit under review. I also looked at one of the internet hobby stores (Megahobby I think) and their kits are not cheap - expecially for 1/72 scale. Are most of their kits just badly molded? Or are they poorly engineered? Or, perhaps, they're not accurate enough in scale dimensions???

Reasoned,

I don't build in 1/72 but I sure would like a 1/48 of the Peacemaker - along with a larger domicile in which to display it and more $ in the bank with which to buy it Big Smile.

First of all and I meant to say this earlier- I think your model is coming along just fine. Don't be too hard on yourself. Put it aside if it's causing you stress.

As for Mach 2, the moldings are soft, the clear parts are thick and cloudy, the instructions are hard to follow and the fit is poor. Other than that, they do have some subjects that are otherwise difficult to find. I built their A2D Skyshark for that reason and it was worth the trouble.

I have the PBM in the stash and will never build it as I think it's Minicraft came out with a far cleaner one. And I have the Valiant V Bomber which has a badly misshapened nose, but Airfix came out with a good one.
