I did make a few mistakes....but not bad for my 4th model back in like 25 years...also new with a air brush. 

I was really wanting to make it Pappy's Plane....I'm a HUGE Corsair fan. I was doing some research when I found out something that I really didn't know. When Pappy's VMF-214 were flying in the Pacific, they really didn't have "assigned" planes. I read where they would just pile into a jeep and jump out and get in whatever plane was available. I don't know how much truth there is in that, but I do know that Pappy was "photographed" in planes....whether or not those were they actual ones....I don't know.
