I mask each part of the canopy and then brush "paint" each panel with Future afterwards.
Ditto on what keavdog said. Been doing it for years with no problems but try it on some spare clear plastic first just to be sure nothing contaminated your future.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
You definitely don't want to get any sprayed-on clear coat of any kind on the clear parts of your canopy. As for using Future as a clear coat...I'd avoid that as well. Use a gloss lacquer that's made specifically for models. I've had nothing but problems with the modern-day formulation of Future, so about the only thing I use it for now is as an adhesive for certain photo etched parts.
"You can have my illegal fireworks when you pry them from my cold, dead fingers...which are...over there somewhere."
I dip the canopy in future and let it rest on a paper towel, but I wouldn't spray over it.
Thanks,
John
I have all the decals on my F-86 E Saber and want to seal everything. I want to spray Future over the plane and was wondering if I could also spray the attached canopy?
