Italeri 1/72 F-100D Finished
Posted by cbaltrin on Sunday, December 27, 2020 8:02 PM

Here is my Italeri F-100D.  Painted using Tamiya acrylics and Alclad II. Decals are from Caracal. No major issues with the kit other than the extra canopy frame that had to be removed, main canopy fit,  and short external tanks.

Oho,That's one of my Favorite Birds!

I usually do them in B.M.F. and colorful markings. There's just something about an F-100 of any version that looks awesome either in Natural metal or Camo that is just strainght up Mean!

You have nailed it in that great looking build.

Well done!  I've done the SEA cammo a couple times and it's a bit of work.  You nailed it - and the heat staining looks awesome.

Thanks,

John
