One quick note about the Fujimi kits. They feature separate leading-edge flaps that you can pose in the dropped position. On the real Intruders, these leading-edge devices work in conjunction with the trailing edge flaps, so when the LE are down, the TE are down. The kit does NOT provide separate trailing-edge flaps, so you'd have to do extensive surgery and some extra detailing to drop them. So, to be accurate, install the LE flaps UP.

I have several Fujimi A-6 variants in the stash. They look fabulous in the box.

I've built the Hasegawa and the Italeri; my preference is the Italeri for its better detail and engraved panel lines.
Fit could be better but there's no perfect kit.

There is also a Revell kit  available out there, but it is pretty much the same kit as the Hasegawa kit.  BUT, It can be built up to a nice looking display with just a little "elbow grease...

Pawel

Hello!

In any case, check out scalemates.com

Now in 1/72 I know Hasegawa is a very old model with poor detail - looking at the instructions it should be avoided.

But there's also the Fujimi kit - I'd recommend it if you can get it, but that's probably not so easy.

Good luck with your modelling projects and have a nice day

Enthusiastic ditto to the exquisite Fujimi kit if you can possibly find it. An absolutely splendid bit of the moldmaker's art.

Anyone got a recommendation?  Best I can tell the only choices are Italeri and Hasegawa.  Very familiar with other Hasegawa kits, but haven't done an Italeri yet.
