I, too, am a great admirer of the Pegasus kit. (Loved the shaped nose weight.)
Also a great admirer of weird-*** projects like this! Great inspiration, and great job!

Pegasus 1:48 scale snap together is probably one of the best detailed snap kits around. Of course some glue was used to close some gaps, but I was really impressed with the quality. Anyhow, while beginning to assemble this, I heard some Blue Öyster Cult music on the radio and remembered that they had an album cover with the Me-262 on it. Creativity kicked in and here is my rendition of the jet in color, complete with custom made markings and a 3-D printed skeleton in the cockpit. Airbrushed in Tamiya acrylics.
