I hope the prices were affordable.

Model building is getting pricey.

Very affordable,  just picked up two frog avengers for $8 each...

Ha!

Wow, I am almost tempted to take a long day trip just to see these in person, but it's just a little to far. Your pics are the next best thing, though. Thanks for that.

Neat. I'll have to check them out when I'm over on that side of town. Last time I set foot in a physical building over there was when Old Guard (16 & Van ***) was still around... so yeah... it's been awhile.

Yes old guard was a nice little shop...

It's just amusing.  No finesse to the programming, it's all or nothing.  You can't say the name of a national art supply chain, either, without getting asterisked out, unless you call it "Richard Blick".

I got censored by the nanny bot the other day for saying that I had gotten a sudden burst of modelling meaujeau.  It didn't like the word when it was spelled correctly, and I had no idea that word was even considered offesive.  LOL

That's alright.

What  about the street names that end in Van D**Ke? Or begin with it?

Sigh...

Glad you were able to outsmart the nanny-bot censorship.

Ah, Van

D-Y-K-E, OK.

With the nannyware, I guess we could never print the name of the comedic actor who had his own sitcom in the 60s, either.

ScottRC.

Hey remember, Styrene is linked to the barrel Price of refined Crude oil! All by-products are higher in price and probably remain so. A Carboy, 5 to 800 lbs of Styrene, Virgin(No Color) Pellets for Molding has doubled in the last year. from 1,200 bucks for one to almost 8,400 bucks for the same thing. Tool making ( Because of Computers and Electronic guided machines,)is now higher by a factor of.15% of the total price. So they pass that on to us. BUT, and think about this, We get hours of enjoyment and it is still cheaper than a Dinner and Movie at today's prices.

ChrisJH666.

I have the Beech Staggerwing from two mfgrs. One I got way back in the late seventies, Don't remember maker, but it was designed for both Motorization and a scale model as well. Just swap the interior and engine space modules. The other was the Short Run A.M.T. Model from the early Nineties? Okay model but lacking detail. Both are supposed to be 1/48. They just barely make it!

If it wasn't for the few new kits there, this looks like a time machine turned back the clock to the late 70's... nice!
