Forgot to ask - which colour mix did you use for the exhaust stains? I am soon to begin working on 1/32 Marseille's bird hence the question. :)

Hi Nikola - For the exhaust stains I used Tamiya acrylic flat black and red brown in various ratios with about 90% thinner. I started with 1:1 for the main stain areas, more brown on the edges and then more black in the center. Hope that helps.

So, as usual, pure awesomeness. You've got great build quality, near flawless painting and weathering as well as some damn fine photography to make it all the more interesting to look at. Really the next level I'd like to reach. 

Do you use a pin wash or the like on the canopy as well? You know, to accentuate the sliding portions that are otherwise not painted?

Yes, I did add a pin wash to highlight the unpainted edges of the sliding windows. In this case I think it was thinned black acrylic paint. Hope that helps. Thanks again.

Beautiful Frederich Hoss.  Can't go wrong with the Star of Afrika's machine. He's on my future build list too.
