Looks good coming from a " car guy" LOL. Really that is an excellent piece. I like WWI planes as ther convey the pilots " personality" in color and non standard markings.
I hope to cross paths with a WINGNUT WINGS kit someday. Great job and thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your kind words! Wingnut Wings kits are a pleasure to build, but not flawless. Still, I credit how nice this plane looks to the quality of the kit.
True, I was editor of Scale Auto, but I wouldn't qualify myself as a "car guy." My gloss clear game is rank amateur compared to most car modelers. But I'll say I'm a pretty good editor, judge of stories, and curious as hell, so I fit the position pretty well--or at least the SCA contributors and readers told me so.
For my part, I'm much more comfortable with sci-fi, fantasy, figs, wooden ships, and, of course, WWI planes as subjects for building.
I'm working on a review of the Revell Outlands TIE fighter this weekend, need to put planks on a ship deck after that, and then I'll turn my attention to a WNW Sopwith Snipe (Early) and get that going before the end of December.
