Well, like they say... It's so ugly it kinda starts looking good again :-) I like it a lot, thanks for sharing!

Looks great from what I see.  But, yeah, it's a Gannet!  Stick out tongue

I think Fairey and the RN had some kind of ugly aeroplane thing going on during WW 2 and immediately post-war.  Yet Fairey produced the record-breaking FD.2, one of the prettiest deltas ever made.

I'm with the dog.  Looks great for a Gannet.

I picked this up on E-bay last year and spent about 6 months off and on working on it, finally finishing it up last weekend. It was a very frustrating buld and almosted ended up in the trash a couple of times. The fit for all of the interiror and the wings were great... the underside was not.

I added so much weight that I was afraid that the nose gear would not be able to support it. The gear was strudier than I thought and it is still a tail sitter. Sad.

The decals were also a source of frustration as they would not come off the backing paper. I had to work a paint brush under every decal to get them to come loose although they did adhere well when I got them on.

I used pre-cut masks and added masking tape seat belts.

She won't win any contests but I am happy with overall result. Glad I stuck to it.
