One of my favorite all-too-rarely modeled birds, and yours is a beaut! Nicely done! YesBeerYes

Yes they were tricky and yes I prefer cleaner models the only weathering would be done in exhaust manifolds .Armor models can get heavier weathering due to their nature.

There are many, many, combat operational aircraft that can have heavy weathering. These things get dirty fast and nobody is worried about cleaning them.

I do agree though that this one would be spotless. A non operational Marine Fury would never have much grime on it or somebody's head would roll.

I bet those blue stripe decals were a lot of fun. And I like the nice clean paint job - not every model we build has to look like it was pulled through the municipal sewer.

I like them whether they are out of the factory clean or war weary.

Very Nice Build! Toast

Looks nice, but could use some weathering techniques

If I ever stop learning, then I'll stop building.
