                        Note that the Type N's in the four RFC squadrons' service were, I believe, fitted with standard Lewis guns. You can Google for pics of the mounting.

                        Just as an FYI, most photos with French Type N"s seem to show the straight 'bar' type magazine rather than the drum one...at least in early-service machines.

                        Gun for Morane Saulnier Type-N Fighter?

                        I'm beginning work on the Morane Saulnier Type-N Fighter and would like to upgrade the gun that the airplane flew with. I found that it was paired with a Hotchkiss machine gun?

                        Does anyone have a favorite 3rd-party producer of guns that might have a comparable gun?
