I just did a search under Doolittle B-25's. Must of what I saw were B&W pics and no color photos (The sites that I went on).
During the war they also used colored film.But some photos were colored after print. I would not really follow those as a paint match up guide (Just my opinion) Make sense?? LOL.
Overall they were painted OD and neutral gry. Each a/c varied to how the paint was applied and each ship weathered differently from the next. Its all on how you want to present the Mitchell
