The engine brace assembly left a noticeable recess/step on the wing.
I added Tamiya PlaPaper to make it flush: After filling and sanding: Added the leading edges: Drilled a hole on the tail section and lightly scribed details: ] Then it was off to the paint shop to check for imperfections. Here she is after wet sanding with 1200 grit sandpaper.

Worked on the landing gear assembly. Heres one of the main landing gears from the box. I found the gear doors too thick:
Sanded them down to more acceptable thickness: Added some wires to make them look a tid bit busy:

I managed to locate a 1/144 Revell 737 -800. One of my clients who's airshow J-3 I am currently rebuilding is a senior capitan on them and I am having custom decals made to reprisent "his" plane.
Now I just need to actually pay for the model I found LOL

I most recently ran out of MM zinc chromate yellow and a MM gloss coat. I just received my paints late yesterday, hence I started my B-17 build once again. This section is the radio compartment, it's designated as the middle. How Hope you enjoy my photos.

Stayed up till the wee hours of the morning, I didn't get much done dur to the intricate nature of PE, but what I did get done was a huge milestone for me at the very least.
Allan, the 737 is looking great, I don't think I have the skills yet to drop the flaps on this small a scale yet.

Thanks so much. I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't intimidated by the small size at first (like, how do you even drill holes for pins in a space as small a size as that?). But as with my other projects, I basically forced myself to find a way to do it by just jumping ahead and cutting the flaps off. Cut now, worry later. LOL.

You made headway there, my friend. I loved working on a kit until the wee hours before. That was my quiet time. But my recurring back injury has all but stopped me from doing that these days. I'm now mostly 1-2 hours a day. Sigh.
At 11:10pm, I'm on a roll. This day was spent with Mrs. Toshi while we both enjoyed our breakfast together. After breakfast, Mrs. Toshi goes to her iPad to do a digital puzzle while I work on my current project building the B-17G. For a change, we went out for dinner had a great time and returned home to close out the rest of the evening. Well, maybe for Mrs. Toshi but not for me! LOL!
I finally completed the bombardier section as well as the cockpit, the mid-section was tended to as well. I did a few dry test fits and at this time, I see no issues. I still have the bombay and the tail section to complete. Once that's done I'll methodically spray the B-17G in sections and put it together. Thank you forum members for visiting my thread, it is greatly appreciated.
Some very nice builds going on here!! Just a quick late night update on my B-29 Superfortress, I have the cockpit mostly done, just need to repaint the bombardier's chair, and detail paint some stuff, apply decals of controls. Kind of odd, the kit is revell #5711, which I got for Xmas 2013, it shows "cream of the crop" on the box, and the optional build Is "humpin honey" (like that is somehow more p.c. Lol) but it clearly includes both the "little boy" and "fat man" atomic bombs, and extra fuel tanks. None of these parts are mentioned in the directions, but I'm glad they're there!! I'm going to build this plane as the Enola Gay. If we have a source for Enola gay decals you can recommend, that would be great!!! First, a pic of Col. Paul tibbets' autograph, which I plan to frame and hang this plane nearby, bomb bay open, landing gear up as if about to drop the bomb. I also will display the "fat man" nearby... A couple bad pics of my workspace to follow!!! Thank you, Rudy
