F-106A on route right now from Hong Kong via EvilBay. I got a good deal on it $16US with free shipping, so, can`t go wrong. I hope it is decent kit. I have had nothing but success with Hasegawa kits:

If I have time before this one ends, I do want to do Meng`s 102 offering.

I am going to do the 104, 1/48 scale monogram. I have to dig through the stash to find it. Will post pics of the unstarted kit.

Theuns,

This sounds like a really cool GB, would you add me to the list with a 1/48 Hobby Boss F-105D:

Thanks,

Bruce

Put me down for the 1:48 Kitty Hawk F-101 Voodoo and maybe, if I have time, the 1:48 Monogram Promodeler (or Encore) F-102 Delta Dagger.

Will do Bruce.  I haven't received my kit yet but when I do, I'll let everyone know my impressions.  I may be a glutton for punishment as Kitty Hawk doesn't have the best rep, but it seems they are getting better. Initial reviews of the kit are mixed, but hey, it's a recent 1:48 Voodoo!

I have a 1/72 F-104G kit in my stash that can be built either as a JASDF interceptor or a Canadian forces attack aircraft. I'm looking for a picture of the double ejectors used to drop snakeye by the F-104G.

Chasing the ultimate build.

I know everyone doesn't like setting tags but I think every post related to this group build should have the tag: "Century GB" set on it to help every one keep tabs on everyone else.

Curious, Seasick, how do you keep track with tags? I always come on site and go right away to "Your Discussions" and see what's new. I get tagging, but, just wonder how you keep track with it. Cheers!

Welcome to the GB guys.

If I am not online for a day or so please do not think I have lost interest, here in SA we hare having one cold front after another and the state power supplier can't keep up so they cut the power to us periodically. The internet access is also very slow some days :-(

As for the building, I have started assembly on my 1/48 Hasa F-104's bang seat, man what a fiddly thing!  Pix to follow.

Right on Theuns, looking forward to that. I am unfortunately not able to start yet, I have to finish my Braille scale GB and then await the arrival of my Delta Dart.

Yeah, I`ve committed to the Sci-Fi and WW1 GBs. For the first time in my life, I am going to have multiple kits going. Problem is, I am doing a massive Cylon Raider for the Sci-Fi GB and it takes up my whole workbench!! Good times to have such problems LOL!!

It's actually kind of fun doing multiples. I'm in 4 GBs and two commissions so talk about multi-tasking! I just juggle :juggle:  the projects around to let them dry or cure while I work on another victim.

The 104 is a ESCI kit I will be doing. I am currently working a tomcat in the vandy 1 scheme and organizing for monogram GB . I have to clear my bench that  the monster 1/48 B-1b is occupying, that is a whole other WIP. Will most likely start sometime in late July on this GB, I am waiting on AM parts for the 104.

Yeah, a 1/48 B-1 would certainly 'occupy' a big degree of real-estate, for sure!!

I have my kit:

Next time I'll spray the box top with dullcoat before I snap the photo.

Eh, I'm building the kit as a CF-104.

I'm in with a Trumpy 1/48 100-c in SEA colors in a cross over. I've got a bit of the cockpit done and am trying to recover from a resin engine mistake, but I'll get her fixed up. Pics of progress so far shortly.

Good Modeling,

No worries.  If the cold fronts get to be too much, he can send them to me in Texas.
