Work continues now entering the 4th hour, just over 3.25 hrs in now. Cockpits are painted, decaled and weathered. Fuselage halves are joined and now mounted to upper wing assy. I've mounted the landing bay doors closed as I intend to leave these as hangers in flight. Had to do some scratch building there. Getting ready to join lower fuselage halves now and then sanding the seams. Should be in primer tonight.

IndifferentNot quite at the seventh hour now and both planes are ready for primer. Something feels really wrong to be moving this quickly.

Brandon- going for the twofer on the first try? OUTSTANDING!  I love it when people push themselves in this build.

Modelcrazy-that ol' FROG kit is quite the bee's knees!  Looking forward to more.

Well, two hours in and your humble scribe is hitting the sack.  This Fujimi kit is not what I expected.  The fit is horrible!  To maximize the number of types possible, the rear hump is a separate piece, and the upper cowling is molded in halves.  There are some ugly seams that have been puttied and will be dealt with in about six hours.  The cockpit is painted and drying.  Hopefully I will have her ready for paint before I have to go to work.

I finally finished the Dodge pick up....what a pain in the butt build.  I had fit problems and issues with the paint. Sad  Then when I went to take the final pics....the batteries died in the camera. Crying

pyrman, don't beat yourself up over that Ram, it looks really good. I think it came out pretty darn nice. And hey, you never get to see enough pickups in the auto side of modeling. Great job.

Looks great Greg!  I'll update the front page when I get to work later on.

Brandon and model crazy, keep at it! Post pics when you can.

Thirteen hours in and she looks like an airplane!  Looks like I'm going to have to wait until the lhs opens tomorrow for some paint.  Almost called this because of the decals, but it looks like they're OK.  NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER!

First off, I am starting to dislike Photobucket. It keeps jacking around my photos and turning them right and left and then not letting me change them back. I think it's time to check out Flickr.

Anywho, I have the decals down and setting in solution. This was a challenge because I am having one of those really shaky hands days. 24 hrs in, 12hrs of work so far. Need to clear again, then do the weathering. I'll be trying the Tamiya weathering sets, they look like women's compacts for eye shadow. I've heard good things about them. Nearly there. Cool
