I'd be interested. Got a classic Tamiya T-62 in the stash waiting to be built.
Knox,
To post pictures you'll need to find a third party host to store your pics and then share from there. The majority here used to use Photobucket because they were free and it was easy to share from, then this summer they went off the deep end and said if you wanted to keep using them, you had to pony up about 400.00 a year. I went back to Fotki, which was pretty wonky 8 yrs ago, but is very easy to use now. 100 gb runs me about 24.00 a year, which is their smallest storage plan. They used to do free storage up to a certain limit, but you'll have to check and see. The only problem I have with them is that you can't share from the app. You have to be at a desk or lap top.

knox If I can figure out how to post pictures, then I would like to join in.

In my opinion the easiest way to post photos here is using USE.com. there are plenty of other options however.

OK, I think we have enough interest to do this. I settled on a year because that gives plenty of opportunity to join in later. I will start a new thread with the rules. I will allow crossovers (although I don't really see much that would fit for the GB as a crossover) and started kits in the construction phase.
If anyone has computer skills, and wants to help with a GB, feel free. I found some WWII propaganda posters that will work with some modification, but I would also like one with modern armor on it, as this seems to be more popular.
Thanks for the interest. This should be fun!
The rules are really up to you for group builds. You can be more liberal and open or specific. The rules will define how much interest and follow you get.
I am in the construction phase. Still will be into january before the t34 sees paint.
Well, I've defaulted on a pile of GBs this year but I have been working on a couple pieces of Soviet/Russian heavy metal so this should be doable. Are you allowing light construction or do you want us to start cold with an entirely new kit? I should be able to go either way.

So there does seem to be enough interest for me to at least start working on a group badge. This should be interesting. My computer skills aren't what they used to be.
Griffin25 I just started a T-55. Maybe 10% complete. I would love to join. It's in Ethiopian service however. Is that ok?

This could be right up my alley, I have some Russian stuff I want to work on. You have tickled my interest.
we're modelers it's what we do
I am thinking about starting a Russian armor group build, but there seem to be a lot of GB's going on right now, so before I work on a badge, I thought I would see if there is interest. I am thinking this would be a 1 year GB, starting early 2018. Open to all Russian armor, any scale.
Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks,
D
