GA, you PM BK with you general wants IE 1/72 scale BF109, 1/35 armor, 1/700 ship, submarine any size any era, 1/72 Hasegawa etc. BK didn't specify but it's usually held to $25 give or take. On Thanksgiving his daughter I believe, will draw names from a hat and he will match the drawn names to to the members. He will then PM you with who you have, their address and what they want. It's up to you where and how much you spend just as long as the gift arrives before or very soon after Christmas. On Christmas day you post a picture of your gift for everyone else to see. You won't know who your SS is but they will enjoy watching you build their gift as you put your WIP on the thread. If your SS is familiar with your work and skills they may throw you a curve or send you something they know you will knock out of the park.

I've participated in 2 and have really enjoyed it. In fact, the gifts are some of my best builds and award winners.

I will drop everything on the bench and give my full attention to their gift but that's not necessary. Hopefully you can finish it sometime during the year.

How does this work??? Do you send a list in for gifts other people want or do you send in your want list????? Thanks.

Oh boy, you know I'm in BK. I always drop everything to finish up a SSGB gift. I'm in the Dallas area for a few more months but am going to be in the Boise area for Christmas. I'll PM you my Idaho address with my wish list. Now let me think......
