I can probably get the dates in there but will take some homework and some time. Should have done this from the start but wasn't thinking of this until mid last year.

I just fixed something cause it was auto linking (if such a thing) to the F-106 I built. I was thinking of pulling the roster and maybe moving that to the 1st post.  On the 2nd post I'm thinking of doing the completed builds by year. I'm still thinking this out as I'm typing.

GT,    For 2021 sign me up for my 1/72 Monogram F-4J.  Marjor assembly was done. Then, I started filling, sanding, and re-scribing panel lines and that is when it got stuck on 'the shelf'.   Scribing should be finished soon.  Markings.... probably VF-31 mig killer but who knows....

That's some thing I unfortunately don't have the patience for. If its a small area I'm okay but I just could never get myself to re-scribe a whole kit. I'm sure it will look great since it's basically a scaled down version of the 1/48 kit.

Rescribing is pretty much done so I took a break to contemplate masking the canopy.  After much trial and error I have made pretty good masks.

Do you have plans for building more of these? With the lines it looks like it would be a good way to copy these for making more.

I have three more in the stash GT--one J and two C/D's. Probably will build them at some point. Maybe one more this year before I forget I made masks for them and lose the file! They really are nice kits if you don't mind putting in the effort to make 'em shine.

So, since I'm building the Academy A-10 for the CAS GB I figured I would pull these two 1/72 derelicts out. The Revell one is a real dog and the Academy was in paint stages. I don't remember what the GB was but I was so tired with these that once the GB was over I just shoved them in a box.

Spent most of my time this morning decanting Tamiya spray paint when I noticed my reserves of gloss clear and gloss black were depleted. Had a few minutes left after that to base coat the NMF areas of the tail though so some progress has been made.

I hate when you run out of paint like that.

I did a little painting myself. I got some practice doing some freehand camo but I really need to get a finer tip and needle or maybe another airbrush for fine detail.

GT, Love the A-10, especially the Euro green camo scheme.

Speaking of green machines, I dug out the Pontiac and looked it over to see whats what.

I did a test fit assembly, sans glue to see what she'll kind of look like...

Engine bay needs work and completing...

The front valance isn't too bad, need to finish that. The rear bumper..ugh! I tried chroming it with BMF but the reults are pretty poor. I will strip that off and try painting it in a chrome color...

The engine hood...look at all that orange peel. That will need addressing...

The dash board (sorry for the bad pic) needs work, I have GTO gauge placards to install, that will help...

Chassis and underframe not too bad...

I think I will start with the interior and work my way out. The seats are done but the side panels still need attention...

I am missing the shifter, so I think I'll scratch build one. Looks like I have my work cut out for me. In the end, I think it might turn out half way decent.

The kit was about half way complete when I ran into a huge fit problem between the main wing and the fuselage. I gave up and put it on the Shelf for over a year. Last year I finally finished it.

Rob, paint looks nice on there and the Matilda really puts the size of the rig into perspective. What are you thinking of with the weathering?

Update:  Cleaned up MK82 bombs and AIM-7's.  If you are interested--ejector pin marks filled = 24 (2 per bomb x6 bombs + 3 per Missle x 4 missles).

Aim-9's are un-saveable. Probably going to  need to get some reskit or Eduard 1/72 AIM-9D'

Did some ... eh hem... hybrid priming.... on the F-4J.  To parody General Groves speaking to Colonel Tibbits in the move Enola Gay : "Do you know what you've done? ... Now that you've covered up that bare plastic there's no way that AMS modeler can keep tinkering with his panel line scribing... Good Job Colonel, you got us moving!"
