Caveman

I have a Dassault Super E that I intend to build as an Argentinian Exocet carrier.  If that fits, I'm in.  Can't start until after the new year.  Weekend Madness and 12 Days of Christmas will tie up my bench until mid January.

Yes, it fits! Yes

I'll be posting an official GB thread in about a month (early November). The GB will be running from January 1, 2020 until December 31, 2020

okay, I have an idea. Probably either a P-51, F-86, F-4, F-104 or F-16.

Thank you all for your responses. I'll post up an official GB thread a bit closer to the start date. I'm really looking forward to this one!

As far as time frame, I was thinking Jan 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. I also plan to allow crossovers with other group builds.

Next year sounds good, though you might be better with just 12 months. Overlong GB's tend to just die off.

Thanks for the tip, Bish. Might as well make it Jan 1, 2020 through Dec 31, 2020.

Best of luck Mach1! I'd like to join in but I keep joining GBs and then not finishing so I've cut myself off after joining Bish's British Army GB. Still, this sounds cool and I hope it all goes well.

I'm guessing you're not talking about Hondas?

Not originally, but I can be persuaded if there is interest in that direction.

Sounds good to me but 3 GB’s in the works could be Dec. time frame for me.

I have a few post war Russian tanks I’m planning to mark for East Germany. So depending on the time line I might join up.

Would there be any interest in a group build entirely of exports?

I'm thinking along the lines of military hardware imported from another country, lend-lease equipment, and liscense-built equipment.

Thoughts?
