Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

You can practly tie most US built modern planes into Lockheed Martin somehow.

I think Boeing (and their many legacy companies: Douglas, McDonnell, Hughes Helicopters, etc.) might beg to differ on that...

I'd be up for it. Got an F-16 kit that's been languishing in the stash for quite a while, just need an excuse to build it.

I have Academy's F22 Raptor that I am currently trying to sell on Ebay, but if nobody buys it by January 1, I would be in with that.  Otherwise I think I have a Shooting Star floating around in the stash or I had picked up Tamiya's recent P38 when it was released if it came down to it.

A pair of Vikings Yes

I love the Viking. I have a 104 I'm thinking of but have a few 16s that would work as well.

I was thinking of a P-80/F-80 Shooting Star.  Depends on how I'm feeling this January.

Well. I'd been looking for an excuse to build the new Tamiya P-38.

I thought I might do it in the Memorial GB as well for Doug/Rigidrider- you said crossovers are fine above?

A new 1/48 SR-71 is also due at the end of this year from Revell Germany.

I wonder if Mikro-Mir will release their promised 1/72 Martin XB-51 by 2022?

But yeah, if you build airplane models, there is a 99% chance you have a Lockheed or Martin kit in the stash.

Had a kit on next years build list just for this, i'll be in with Italeri's 72nd SR-71. If anything says Lockheed, its a Blackbird.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

General Dynamics... formerly Convair... formerly Consolidated...

Other than the Fort Worth division, I'd like to not get too spread out. I want to do a General Dynamics GB later as well as Grumman ETC. You can practly tie most US built modern planes into Lockheed Martin somehow.

lets just say, if it's labled Lockheed or Martin it's good, I.E. Lockheed F-16, even though it was a GD design.

OK boys and girls, I'd better get this in before the que gets filled for next year.

Now that my ship GB's are winding down I want to start a yearly US manufacturer GB, and maybe Japanese if there's intrest.

Da rules

Similar to my Boing build from years past, anything built by Lockeed and or Martin Marietta, or by any company accured by them

Alco Hydro-Aeroplane Company
Laughead Aircraft manufacturing Company
Grand Centeral Rocket Comapny
General Dynamics, Fort Worth aircraft division
Lockheed Shipbuilding and Construction Company
General Dynamics Space Systems Division

Start date Jan 1st 2022, end Dec 31 2022.

Crossovers are fine, 10% built and so on.

Who want's to join?
There's lots and lots of Lockheed and Martin stuff out there so go to your stash, close your eyes, reach in and grab something. Chances are it was built by this fine family of companies.
