I myself can't do anything like these, they are the works of my long time artist named "Art Instructor".  He once wrote an article on "Building the Famo & Sd.Ah.116" and I translated it into English. That's really interesting, it might be a good way to create mud. I'm definitely going to try that on a piece of scrap plastic and see what results I get. Please give my compliments to your friend.
