Its a nice looking build. Not sure I would like to be driving that truck trying to pull an 88. I do like what you have done with this old Tamiya kit, despite its age, its a nice kit. Is the Opel Tamiya as well.

Thanks!I agree that the Tamiya 88 is a great kit  and remember that it was tooled up in the pre-Cad era.The truck is a 1/32 Twentieth First Century Toys diecast that I picked up at Wallyworld for 3 bucks!

O right, I have never seen one of their die caste kits before. I built the Merit 1/18th 88 a few months back which is an old 21st century kit. Merit also sell die caste models, I wonder if they are 21st century as well.

A pretty nice effort, Philo--a dark umber wash would really help out the truck though. It would bring out some of the detail in the wood and give it less of a monochromatic look.  :)
