According to the DML news release, "Sep 2016" but none of the first to have online shops lists it in yet. No offense to this site but new kit info is better had on some other sites (such as Armorama from which you linked the photo)

Wow...gotta have that!

Dragon would do well to release more subjects like this and stop on the "Sdkfz 181 MkIV J, August, 1944 variant"...Maybe a sdkfz 263 next???

DML do a SdKfz 263? That's doubtful with recent releases by both AFV Club and Bronco in 1/35th.

Both companies are known for their fiddly bits -- but have you looked over either of them?

That would be nice to see, i have a StuG that would go with nicely. BUti have given up waiuting for Dragon releases after waiting 4 years or more fort their 251 Ausf A. I'll believe it when it hits the stores.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

The fact that they have Ron Volstad box-art tells me this is gonna happen soon...

The subject of an SdKfz 247A or B has been discussed before on other sites. There was an old resin conversion kit of the 247A by MR Models. It's long OOP and I don't know anything about its accuracy. Also Sovereign made a 247B -- but it was based on a mil-veh restorer's mock up and mirrored the errors of the restorer. It was a huge block of resin and required extensive modification to be accurate. It had a cast tarp over the interior. The problem with both subjects is that no known diagrams or photos exist of the interior. Both SdKfz 247s were basically open topped armored cars -- but if you have nothing but speculation for the interior -- you can imagine how well that would go over.
