Eventually, I'm going to put this on a nice base like Waynec did - that's why the commander is 'talking' toward the ground. So tried out a whole bunch of techniques that I never did before, more PE, oil wash, pigments, tried my hand at better figure painting, added straps to the binoculars with tape, etc... Many of these techniques I been 'absorbing' thru the fine modelers on this forum that patiently shared their knowledge.
