1/35 Academy Hetzer 38(t) Late
Posted by udel09 on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 5:11 PM

Last post for today!  I just finished Academy's Hetzer.  The kit was a straightforward build with no major issues.  I am not a huge fan of the look of the Hetzer but it is an interesting companion to have next to the larger Tigers and Panthers.  I finished the Hetzer with a mix of AK and Vallejo acrylic paints.  Comments and critiques always welcomeBeer!

What a cool little kit. The intricate camouflage really makes it appealing!

Nice build. That is a camo scheme I haven't seen before, but it's catchy.

Nice build, the camo looks really sharp. Did you use Humbrol Maskol or silly putty for the sharp edges?

Kien,

The camo was done with mask's provided by the Academy kit.  Thanks for the replies

Very nice flat weathering and the ambush scheme is outstanding.

That is a mean looking machine! Wonderful paint job. What type of gun was on the late model? Looks a lot bigger than previous versions I have seen. Great job.
