Ive considered scratch building some of those. The P1000 and P1500 Land Cruisers would be cool. On a related note Ive noticed that the Dragon E100 has a Maus style turret and the Trumpeter E100 has a King Tiger style turret. Which is correct?

From what i can gather, the Dragon kit is correct with the Maus turret. I think the turret on the Trumpeter kit is more like what was intended for the E-75.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

There are other AFV's that were still on the drawing board besides the E series of tanks. The Kugleblitz was one. Rumor has it 2 were made and may or may not have seen combat. Dragon has a kit. My dad has one in his stash.

After much research, E-25, Panzer Division Clausewitz 1945

Since the E-25 kit is of an un-finished AFV, I used my engineering background to solve things like: "Howwas the main gun sighted?"

 Any way, after 3 months.......

Let me know what you guys think!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, don't forget the E25 by Trumpeter. There, that completes the trio.

All gave some and some gave all.

I to have just completed a build of the Trumpeter E100 Ausf B.  That was based on what might have been an E100 with a tiger II style turret.  Figures Voyager just came out with a PE set for it.  I used a set from a Jagdtiger.  Also for my E100 I used a lion roar barrel.  Just happens to be the E100 has the same cannon as the Jagdtiger.  Here are a couple of pics of mine.

hope this helps a little.

Like you said Trumpeter has an E-10, and E-100. Dragon also has an E-100. Doog built one not too long ago. Maybe he'll post pics of it?

Ask and you shall recieve! Here's the DML E-100 "Nacht Jaeger" with a corrected hull ansd some extensive modifications---the thread is still up here on FSM if you search the forums!

Found a few conversions and full kits over at Accurate Armour but way too expensive. May try my hand at scratch building. I have the Dragon E100 in the stash and it will be the first of my Panzer '46 builds. Anything I should look out for? Would the aftermarket Maus barrel set work for the E 100? Anyone got any spare Tamiya night sites from thier Panther G steel wheel kit they would be willing to part with?

German E series tank question
Posted by modelbuilder on Friday, August 29, 2008 2:20 PM
Are there any kits out there of any of the proposed E series tanks, land cruiser tanks, or any of the other conceptual tanks that were on the German's drawing boards when the war ended? I know that Trumpeter has a few. Any others? Ive got plans for a Panzer '46 build.
