HeavyArty redleg12 ...nice to see some of the "old timers" coming out. Good to see you back on here too. Hmm, I'm almost 50. Does that make me an "old timer" too?

LMAO.... it has nothing to do with age, just the bunch of us who have been around on this site since glue was in a tube and came with the kit!!!
As for 50....I wish I was 50 again!!!!! At least we are both still "safe and ready"

Yay Mike!
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Pawel, my old friend, thank you for asking. I am still above the grass and still gluing styrene together. I am on FB more now but like the Darth Vader of armor I still lurk in the shadows here at FSM. My current build is an M1064A3 120mm mortar carrier. Ping me anytime to say hello and thank you for this note. Be well my friend
Hey Mike! So good to see you on the forums! Where have you been? Hope you're doin' all right! My best greetings for you and have a nice day
Paweł

That is some interesting history. If at some point you want to sell what you have, feel free to contact me through PM or through my web site. The article on my Peshing buld was published just this past year here in FSM.

I have the Martin Kit, given to me from my father who worked for Martin Marietta. Dad was a tool and die maker and made some of the molds from which the kit was produced. According to the note he enclosed in the box ony 500 were produced for Army Brass, VIPs, ect. I have never started the build. Included with the kit is a sketch for a wood base and a metal name plate for the base. All in all it is animpressive model.
I think there was one in the hobby shop here in Orlando. If you want, I'll see if it's still there.
Where are you in N.J.?
N8DOGG - I am always interested. Feel free to send me a PM
Oh, necro thread! I didn't see the original post date.
“Ya ya ya, unicorn papoi!”

I have seen the 1/72 kit for sale, toooooooo small for me. Hopefully with all the 1/35 items for the Patriot out, maybe we will get lucky for the Pershing 2 or maybe....the Pershing!
ModelCollect from China has a Pershing 2 kit for sale in 1/72 scale. It is highly detailed but is hard to build. It includes the missile carry truck as well as the erector launcher. i would say that the detail far exceeds that of any other kit of the subject.
pershing 2
OK...the Pershing missle was made in1/32 scale by Martin Marietta. The kit is EXTREAMY RARE. The resin kit was a copy of the Martin Marietta kit ....and just as rare. Here is my build of the Martin kit. I also have an accepted article for FSM on the build
The Atomic cannon you can find on ebay.
The Martin Pershing kit, I see one every 18 months of so on ebay. Price $700 - $1100
The Revell Atomic Cannon . Once per month, depending if sealed or not, $175 - $350
Rounds Comlete!!
I know that Marco's Miniatures used to make a resin Pershing kit, but I have not seen it for sale in a long time.
To my knowledge no one makes a Pershing kit. I've been looking for one for years!
On the bench: AFV Club M730A1 Chaparral
On deck: Tamiya Marder 1A2
In the hole: Who knows what's next!
Does anyone make a 1/35 Pershing Missle launcher System?
Does anyone have a Revell Atomic Cannon they would like to sell?
