Please check out my latest build a Tamiya King tiger.

I thought I posted 4 images but only 2 posted. I will try to post the other two. Photobucket and posting is always an adventure for me.
You definately have the basics nailed down.Very nice job on the camo.
Nicely done Bob. Thanks for sharing.

Its certainly a neat build, and you really nailed the airbrush scheme. Will be too lightly weathered for most tastes here tho, I would say. I am tackling the same kit and just about to start on the Tamiya indy track links after I snapped the vinyl ones (doh) This could really pop with some weathering.

Nice build, really like the cammo.

I decided not to weather this tank this time. I have the 1/48 scale king tiger that i will weather a lot more. I liked the color and the size of this model. IMO not all tanks and armor need to be weathered to look cool.

Yes the cammo is very well done.
Not sure if your aware or care, but this particular KT (Porsche turret) had the zimmerit applied to it. A liitle late now, but just thought you might like to know in case your 1/48 is of the same type.

Nice clean build..I like it!

Robert, nothing wrong with a clean tank, they all started that way. Airbrushing is very well done (better than mine) and very well put together. Very nice job.

Yes, tigerman. I started the zimmerit coating and didnt like the result so i took it off. I should have went for one of the aftermarket zimmerit kits. The 1/48 will have Porsche turret with the correct zimmerit coating.
I like the camo.
