Well, that's one benefit of armor

I've been putting off tackling any of the few armor kits I've accumulated since getting back into the hobby. But yesterday was gross and rainy, and both my aircraft WIPs are in the paint stage. Didn't want to start another aircraft, so I pulled out Tamiya's M4 Early Production.

Two hours at the bench, I went from a box full of sprues to this:

Definitely refreshing not having to use the Touch-n-Flow and being able to weld so many of the pieces from the inside (or not have to worry about making a mess!).

That and kermit-like build speed...definitely something appealing in this whole dark side thing...Smile

On the Bench: 1/32 Trumpeter P-47 | 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G | 1/144 Eduard MiG-21MF x2

On Deck:  1/350 HMS Dreadnought

Yup, those Tamiya Shermans are a great speedy build! A nice way to refresh the model building soul after a not so friendly kit.

Not a bad way to spend a couple of hours...sometimes the more complex/complicated builds can get tedious and sap your energy. Looks like you found just the ticket with this one! Beer

Popularly known as the shake-and-bake kits. This guy literally falls together.
