Polish heavy artillery WW 2
Posted by mstazz62 on Saturday, January 24, 2004 12:44 PM
Does anyone know of a reference source for Polish artillery from pre WW 2?
I'm looking for info on the Skoda wz 32 220mm heavy mortar used by the Polish army. I have the Mirage kit of the C7p artillery tractor and I wanted to have it towing the big gun. Any info on available kits or photos and drawings so I could scratch build one? I know this is pretty obscure - which is why I have not found any info on the web.
Thank you and happy modeling!

Mark; Gee, I thought I had this question nailed, but alas, my Skoda Heavy Guns by Michal Prasil, Schiffer Publishing, has failed me. While it lists the 22cm model 32, there aren't any drawings or photos, sorry! Sigh [sigh]
I've got plenty of info on the Skoda 24cm cannon, 38cm howitzer and the 42cm howitzer, including very good drawings, if you want those.

Mark, Have you tried www.squadron.com They have a large selection of books. You might be able to find something. Good luck.
