Thanks for those high marks here Dwayne.

Don't worry, you're worthy and you sound intelligent!!

I'm glad you like it - there's more coming.

I've been having a LOT of trouble getting pictures
loaded on Photobucket for the next update.

Meanwhile, where should I send that penny?

Wow, somehow missed this update. Tongue Tied

Awesome, I'd swear she was real metal. And the 'Henshel' turret does look neat fitted on there.

Hey gang,

http://www.laie-smileys.com/reloj.giftime for another update.

I cut and split some used scotchbrite and pulled each layer apart to thin it out.
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b232/gluetank/Porsche%20VK4502%20Vorne/Henschell%20progress/PICT0075_zps4gile9p1.jpg

The purpose is to create simple vines and fill behind the leaves giving depth when applied to the turret and elsewhere.
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b232/gluetank/Porsche%20VK4502%20Vorne/Henschell%20progress/PICT0080_zpsu0fyg2aa.jpg

Don't know where I got this stuff (it's plastic-like sponge) but the vine-like pattern is just what I need.
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b232/gluetank/Porsche%20VK4502%20Vorne/Henschell%20progress/PICT0079_zps9zniduzb.jpg

I cut it in a manner that would allow me to stretch it out.

I'm going to have to add some more lead weight to the forward portion of the hull to get those movable bogies positioned better.

I used some gauze and string for that gaggle of camouflage midway down the barrel.

Now that's very cool! I'd never have thought to use the Scotch-Brite to pad out the leaves. Very clever!!! Yes

Only one question, no foliage on top to camo the panzer from Allied aircraft?

For hanging out here Gamera.

I'd thought about it. Good question.
A
ll traffic in and out of this particular vehicle had to be gained through the turret hatches. Navigating all the inherent topside fixtures in addition to the leaves and branches would surely impede any urgent movement, increasing the risk for injury, not to mention obscuring the periscopes.

And then again, heck......
https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSooag4suaA0gX3guXYxmGTrSQY_KN5SjK_VwXLjoBNagiYKgN2
I just didn't want to cover up all of the turret.

And yeah, I know what you mean about PhotoBucket. I was trying to download some photos off PB back onto my hard drive. I think I was averaging maybe two photos a minute or less.

Steve,

I don't get around to forums much these days---I'm writing a lot of articles though--but I had to stop in and say that you've never disappointed, and this double-build is no exception. Masterful work, inspiring artistry and vision; boy, you're going to make a lot of those "realism" guys apoplectic, and that's something to smile about right there, lol. Really fabulous work here. you should be proud. Take some time off and recharge your batteries and come back with another jaw-dropper. I know you will. Steve, I've been getting caught up on the forum posts and I came across your Two Kitties build(s)! Bow Down  What amazing and lifelike work on them!  Even though I take off to pursue other hobbies, this is the kind of stuff that inspires me to return to the bench and keep building!  I'm still trying to figure out how you got the dirt on the hull to look so realistic!! Hmm

Great, Great work sir!  I'm looking forward to more of your work!

I've been cleaning out my photobucket images and working on re-posting some of them here soon (but on a limited scale).

I don't think I could ever get them back on here in the correct order.

I've kicked the bucket permanently                               https://nikszo.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/kickdbucket.jpg

and will be moving on.

Probably be a while before I'll be back here..... but I WILL be back.

Thanks to both of you gents for your generous comments and following along on this.

Thank you a lot Ernest,
Likewise, I've also been trying to catch up here while also dealing with the effects of that malicious photobucket sneak attack.  I too also have other secondary interests  http://www.laie-smileys.com/halterofilia.gif that take me away from here, but this is the one true hobby I always return to. Commentshttp://www.laie-smileys.com/diario.gif such as yours and from others here motivate me to reload and fire again  - http://www.mcbroom.biz/forum/mods/smileys/images/whistle.gif semi of course. As far as the dirt goes........Well, "FELIX CULPA" (translated: a mistake or disaster that actually ends up having surprisingly beneficial consequences).

                               Hence the name,
