Ok so I tried to plut comentary in the photos but it didn't work. Shown is the box wearthered up, road wheels, idlers, and return rollers installed.

I stippled the exhaust cause I didn't like the finish that is on it, to me it looked to "yellow". It has been painted straight Testors rust and looks much better.

Cool thing I learned is the gun has an electric/ hand driven traverse mechanism which I tried to show, it will get greased up before to long.

Not sure I like the decal for the first aid kit so I may do something different or try to "rough" it up abit.

I plan on using the Verlinden stencils I picked up years ago for the Balkenkruitz, should be pretty straightforward.....but it is me..... Also showed my track jig just for fun, it is a little tricky to get the first 4 or 5 links together but after that the jig keeps things flat and straight.

Next update I hope to have the camo painted, more stuff for the box, ie, rifles, gas masks etc., and I need to buck up for the crew. Thanks for hanging in there with my progress.

Very cool! The gun support  and aiming gear looks complicated and you did a great job on it. And really like the rusty/dirty look of the deck.

Thank you Gamera, Ex. T. It really photos well. Lots more work I wanna do as this it the first kit I am trying to add detail to. Lots of stuff to think about.

I am in erroe about the carrige traverse, it is manual only through a 90* gearbox, but its still a detail I want to show.

Yeup LT, glad ya slapped your computer into compliance LOL. Think what I might do is just airbrush a white dot and a red cross on the front of that box. The text is German for "first aid kit" but given the worn look I want the text is negotiable. Gonna put camo down this weekend, HOPEFULLY pix too, supposed to rain and high winds so outdoors work a no go. Glad we be golden my friend.

Coming along nicely, camo done nicely. Gonna use kit decals for balkenkruetz as lining up verlinden stencils as escapes me.  Still tinkering with the interior details. More to come. Thanks for looking.

The pix look alittle blury, sorry. I intend to use the "dot filter"method to weather up the exterior. Still need to finish up and install the tracks, one fender and the entire r/h wall. The more time I take to figure out how I want it to look the better chance I have of actually making it look like I want.                                                               I tried to tone down the rust color on the exhaust with some earth tone pastel chalks, to me it looks better in person than on pix. I will try to get more done and post pix soon, y'all know me so no promises.

Thanks guys, I really do appreciate the support. One day I'll get the whole photo, post, comment thing down to a science and maybe there won't be such lags in progress.

My first shot of the green was way to close to the grey and all but disappeared to my eyes so I sucked it up and shot the green you see now. I think it was the right choice.

Panzer grey in MM enamal was nigh impossible so I got a bottle of Euro Grey aircraft and lightened it with some white. Gotta say I'm expanding my horizons on this build....and I kinda like it LOL. Thanks again faithful followers.

An amazing build!  That camoflauge motif looks tough.  As for your Zoukei Mura kit?  I’d like you to build the Swallow!  I haven’t built that yet but I do highly recommend the Shinden kit.  Great kit with lots of building accersories from Zoukei Mura.  Good luck on your build.

BTW I didn't photo it but I did change the decal for the first aid kit, looks WAY better, course proof is in the pudding so to speak LOL. I hope this all comes together soon so you fantastic folks can move on with your lives LOL.

I had a mind meld once....turns out I left it somewhere. Whats scarier is it hasn't called, wrote, or anything for months....it may be gone for good this time.
