As soon as I finish the diorama I am now working on ( and a few other WIP ). I plan on spending the winter doing my pet project. My precious...
I'm going to take a 1/ 35 Stug ( fully leafed and camoed ) and accompanying diorama and do it all in black and white ( with varying shades of grey )
I think I have enough stock footage and other info to work from.
Just wondering if anybody ever tried or did it.
Should be interesting none the less. I did start the Stug and so far it's a little weird.
Will post pics when I have something more to show.

RamboThat sounds like a fun project a guy I know does that with them old movie figures. He's done the Mummy, Frankenstein and Bela Lugosi.
I've been intending on doing this with a 'Creature From the Black Lagoon'.
Duplicating the look of a Second World War photo sounds awesome. I too really want to see this when you're done.

I've seen this technique done with SciFi themed subjects, in particular, a 1/9 scale Alien model kit. Which, like Cliff, would like to do one myself.

If you put it into a shadow box, you would be able to control the lighting in the box and enhancethe final look. Down side is that you only see half the model .
