Meng T90 Build for Newbie
Posted by Models32466 on Friday, November 23, 2018 9:30 PM

So model is 90% complete, washed, primed, one coat of russian green.  But now the fun beings.  Just got my first filter, varnish, streaking grime, Mud effects and wash.  Never really weathered before.  I tried on my M109A with Tamiya Panel Accent and fake chipping but becasue I did not use varnish every time I went to clean up the pin wash or grime the dry brush with water or thinner would just remove the effect and bring me back to base coat.

Wish i could show you but can't figure out how to upload pictures on my apple tablet.

I am not following the exact historical guide to the T90 not up to that part yet.  Only built three armored kits, Tamiya King Tiger, Tamiya M40 and the Tamiya M109A.  The Meng T90 was/is a little more challenging

If anyone can help with the picture issue it would be greatly appreciated.  I read all the topics on uploading on the forums, but still no luck.

Right, so with 3 kits under the belt I do understand that the Meng T-90 is challenging.

Sorry about beeing ignorant in my previoues reply.

Anyway - I do not fully understand the problem - but then again I am not familiar to the IOS system.

Have you decided on a hosting service?

I recently came back only to find that PB have gone ... and decided to use Fotki.

That comes at a cost but it is reasonable.

And the Windows GUI is very easy, like drag and drop.

I suggest you can contact them (or any other provider) on their webpage and see if they can guide you.

Apple or IOS seems to be preffered arround people who deal with Images of any kind so I would be very surprised if they can't offer advice.

Good luck and looking forward to see your T-90!
