Trumpeter USMC LAV-25
Posted by Jbookie on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 9:09 AM

Hello everyone, here is a build I recently completed of a LAV-25 from Trumpeter. Kit was a little older, and had a few issues that needed to be corrected but overall it turned out pretty nice. I videoed the entire build for anything that might want to take a look at it.

I am currently working on a nice Zvezda T90 which I can't wait to get back to!

I'm unfamiliar with this vehicle but think you did a nice job on it.

That's some nice work! I've tried the streaking effect and it never looks anywhere near as good as yours. Yes

It looks pretty good. Just a bit bare with no crew stowage or markings of any sort. Your weathering gives this build a nice aged appearance.

Has that bare look of vehicles racked up in the motor pool; used, but not in use.

That minimalist look is hard to capture.  Good job.

Nice job! I have to partially agree with Stik though, it doesn't need any gear on it but it should have some USMC markings. That's just the way it is. Semper Fi.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate both the suggestions and the praise. This was one of the first really involved builds I have done, but it doesnt hold a candle to the T90 I just built, I'll be posting details in a new thread.

This is my current WIP. Only a few hours in.  Loving it so far.
