If you do decide to go with some filters won't NATO Tri-colour filter do the trick? The point seems to be to use the filter to bring the three shades together- aka you want to apply the same filter over the whole tank.

If you are doing a parade tank then filters, pin washes etc. are not needed as these vehicles are given a very thorough cleaning an quite often a brand new paint job.

Leave as is and use natural daylight or overhead or directed LED in the cabinet as your filters etc.

Exactly. Parade equipment is always highly cleaned. Some minimal pin washing for recessed hatch outlines, grills, etc. would be fine. But everything else should look immaculate. These are not machines in typical field service. The brass wants to show off, and wants the equipment looking perfect.

What filter color for a tri-color camouflage tank

I have built the ZTZ-99 Hobbyboss and would like to apply a filter to give somemore tone to the colors.  But being a tri-color camouflage tank I am not sure what color to use.  I would rather not use three different colors for each cameo color, (lazy) but is there a good netural color for all three....I was thinking of medium brown.

After I will do a pin wash to highlight items and such.

I want the tank to look like a Parade tank,,,as it strolls down Bejing Ave. on a military parade.
