M1A1 AIM Dragon or Meng?
Posted by Coldsteel6d on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 4:56 AM

I served on M1A1s in Germany 98-00. I am pretty sure they were AIMs . Anyway I am always looking for more kits of my old tank. I have a few Dragon M1A1 AIM kits in my stash and built one a few years ago. Was a great model.  I see Meng has an AIM now. How does it compare to the Dragon one? I have a few other Meng kits and they all look and build great.

Just wondering if Meng has improved on Dragon or if it's really not worth getting one. Maily looking for accuracy and details. Bonus points for any extras that only a guy that has lived on one would notice, real world stuff not just stuff the desigenrs probably copied off a static museum peice.

Appreciate any information anyone has.

The Meng kit is about on par with the Dragon 3535 AIM kit.  If you have the Dragon M1A1 AIM kit, there is no real advantage to get the Meng kit.
